Description

Elms Farmhouse is a late 16th-century house located on Peartree Hill, Mount Bures. It is an example of a late Elizabethan house with two storeys. The house is constructed of Flemish-bonded brickwork and features a projecting string course at first-floor level. A gabled porch is centrally located, with modern sash windows on either side, and two similar windows on the first storey. The roof is gabled and ridged, covered with peg tiles.
