This is a 16th-century house located on Lower Road, Mount Bures. The house is timber-framed and has been infilled with panels. It is two storeys high and originally comprised two bays, with a narrower central bay containing the front door. The side girt has no external bracing. The ground floor front has two sets of sliding sash windows, each with six panes. The thatched roof is ridged and gabled, with fly hips. Inside, an oak panelled door is present, featuring a fluted central muntin, along with joists having diminished-haunches.
