Description

Yewtree Farmhouse is a 14th or 15th century hall house that underwent extensive alterations in the early 16th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range of 18th century double hung vertical sliding sashes on the first floor, with 19th century windows below. At the east end, there is a 15th century lean-to. The long wall jetty includes former cross-wing jetties supported by curved brackets. Some of the timber frame is exposed internally.
