Description

The Old School House is a late 17th century or early 18th century building located in Messing-cum-Inworth on School Road. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with red plain tiles. The building stands two storeys high and has a four-window range with 19th century pivot windows that include glazing bars, along with one modern casement window. On the first floor, there are two additional modern casements. The original dripmoulds for doors have been blocked. The exterior displays two heraldic plaques and has a modern porch. A 19th century red brick chimney stack is present, and there are modern extensions at the rear.
