Description
East Gores Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700, constructed with a timber frame and encased in red bricks laid in stretcher bond with four and a half inch work. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a ridged and gabled roof that is covered with peg tiles, along with a red brick chimney stack on each gable. The central front door is located beneath a flat porch supported by two circular iron columns. The windows consist of sets of two-pane horned sashes, with three on the first storey and one on either side of the door on the ground storey. There is a rear range that extends to the northeast, which is timber framed and has a gambrel roof.
