This is an early 19th century primary school built in grey gault brick, featuring a grey slate hipped roof. The building is single storey and has an H plan layout. It includes a window arrangement of 2:3:2, with 19th century pivot windows that have glazing bars and drip moulds. There are modern extensions at both the north and south ends of the building.
