Description
The Church of St Peter and St Paul was built in 1850 by Teulon. It is constructed of flint with limestone dressings and features a red plain tile roof with crested ridges. The church includes a nave, chancel, north and south aisles, a south porch, and a west tower. The west front has two gables and is adorned with traceried windows in the decorated style. The west tower, which is 110 feet high, is topped with a shingled broach spire. The windows throughout the church have two-centred arches and tracery that matches the west front. The gabled south porch has a simple five-cant roof, while all other roofs are framed with side purlins, arch bracing, and a ridge pole, with principal rafters that have collars and are braced to corbels.
