Description
Number 10 East Stockwell Street is a late Georgian building featuring a red brick front that belongs to an earlier structure, with an older wing extending east at the rear. The building has two storeys, attics, and cellars, with tiled roofs. Notably, No 10 has a slightly lower roof level compared to its neighbors. There is a two-window addition between Nos 7 and 8. The front facade is topped with a coping and includes a seven-window range of broad double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals, along with a rectangular fanlight. No 10 is distinguished by fluted pilasters and a flat Doric hood. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 7 to 16 and the Stockwell Congregational Chapel.
