Description

St George's Hall, built in 1851, is a public hall located on the north side of High Street. The building is constructed of red brick and features an apsidal south end, with a small apse at the north end. It has a basement and tall arched windows. Inside, there is a musicians' gallery at the south end. The hall is topped with a slate roof. St George's Hall, along with Nos 156 to 158 and Albert Hall, forms a group.
