Description

19 Lexden Road is a 2-storey house built in 1837, likely by the builder Henry Hammond Hayward for Thomas Cathpool, an iron founder. The house is constructed of grey gault brick and has a slate roof. It features a 5-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The centre front of the house projects forward and includes a large Doric porch. There are also some contemporary interior features.
