Description

Blackboard Cottage is a small house from the late 17th century. It is timber framed and covered in black weatherboarding, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range of double hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars on the first floor, while the ground floor has horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. There are lean-to extensions at each end of the cottage, which have casement windows and red pantile roofs.
