Description

East Bay House is a large, late 18th century red brick house, dating to circa 1780. It has two storeys, attic space with four dormers on the north front, and cellars. The roofs are tiled and have a mansard design. The north front features a six-window range, while the east front has a four-window range, all with double-hung sash windows containing glazing bars. The window reveals are painted and the windows have stone dressings. Both frontages share similar design elements. A ground floor bay window is present on the north front, a two-storey bay window on the east front, and a single bay window on the ground floor. The doorcase is distinguished by Ionic columns and a semi-circular fanlight.
