Description
Great Claydons is a mid to late 19th-century plastered house featuring a parapet and cornice. The building has two storeys. The east front displays a five-window range, with the central part slightly projecting forward as a one-window range. The west front has a three-window range. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set within stucco moulded architraves. On the west front, the ground storey includes two splayed bays with French doors. The centre window on the east front is topped with a cornice hood supported by console brackets. A square open porch with panelled piers and a cornice extends from the front. A stucco moulded band runs between the storeys. At the south end, there is a later brick addition with a slate roof.
