Description

Sycamore House is an 18th or early 19th century timber-framed and weatherboarded house with a later gabled wing at the north end, which is tile hung. The main block has two storeys and a five-window front, while the wing has one window. Casement windows are present throughout. A 20th-century shop front occupies the ground storey. The doorway is distinguished by a moulded architrave and hood. The roof of the main block is tiled, and the wing’s roof is slate. The building is part of a group which includes the Church of St Mary, Churchways, Church Cottage, and Keepers Cottage.
