Description
The Law Library is an early 19th-century building constructed of grey gault brick. Originally built as a meeting house, it hosted Quaker meetings from 1824 to 1957 and features a large open hall. The front of the building has a pedimented gable and a blank circular window. It includes an Ionic porch supported by four columns that have entasis. There is a continuous sill band and four arched recesses on the front. Each side elevation has five round-headed windows with small pane sashes positioned above the sill band. The roof is pitched and covered with slate.
