Description

Moulsham Mill House is an 18th-century house made of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring three storeys and five bays. The front has five sash hung windows, and the central front door is set in a bay that projects 4.5 inches. This door is adorned with a pediment and dentils, flanked by two Corinthian pilasters, and topped with a semi-circular softwood fanlight. The house has a parapet along the front and sides, and there is a stucco string course at the first-floor sill level. The roofs are hipped and covered with peg tiles, and there are two large chimney stacks on the rear slope. The building has a rectangular plan with a weather-boarded range at the back.
