Description

  1. HIGHWOOD LOVES GREEN 5213 Ward's Farmhouse TL 60 SW 11/581 29.12.52. II 2. A timber-framed and plastered house of C16 origin with cross wings at the north and south ends with plastered gables. It was refaced in the C18-C19 in red brick. 2 storeys). 5 window range on the east front and 2 window range on the south side, double-hung sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals. The lst storey on the south side is plastered. A raised brick band runs between the storeys on the east front. Moat tiled, with an original central chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts. There is the remains of a moat. (RCHM 10).
