Little Barns is a small 18th-century cottage that is timber-framed and weatherboarded, having been renovated in the 20th century. The building has one storey and an attic, featuring 20th-century casement windows. Above the door, there is a plaster panel displaying the initials R F above E and the date 1747. The roof is tiled and includes two gabled dormers.
