Description

Oak Cottage is an 18th-century brick house that was altered in the 19th century. It is painted and has a rear wing. The house is two storeys high with a three-window front, featuring double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor includes an original splayed bay at the west end and a 19th-century two-storey gabled bay that projects at the east end. A 20th-century doorway is present. The roof is tiled. The property forms a group with Nos. 17 to 25 (odd), Nos. 27, 29, and 31 on High Street.
