Description

108 The Street is an 18th-century house that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with 20th-century pargetting in traditional patterns. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor has one 20th-century bay window. The entrance consists of a four-panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight, and there is a dentilled cornice above. The roof is tiled. This house is part of a group that includes Nos 100 to 116 (even), Nos 2 to 6 (even) known as Campen's Cottages, and the Alcove on Brook Hill.
