Description

This barn, located immediately to the north of Jarvis Hall, dates from around 1600. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a brick plinth and a red plain tiled roof. The barn features a central midstrey and painted glass windows in the midstrey and side gables. It consists of five bays and has jowled storey posts, arched braces to the tie beams, and a V strut roof construction, along with straight bracing to the walls.
