Description
Former water tower, built around 1910. It is constructed of red and blue brick in a Romanesque style. The tower features crenellations and is panelled with stone coping and bands, along with parapet machiolations. It has a square plan and consists of three stages. Each face is supported by angle and centre pilaster buttresses, with blue brick buttresses on the first stage. There are two bays on each face, each containing a round-headed window on each stage, except for the ground floor, which has a matching doorway. The windows have blue brick arches, and there are bands at the impost and cill levels. The metal windows include glazing bars.
