Description

This is a pump located 3 metres north-west of Dunstead's Farmhouse in Ingatestone and Fryerning. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and features a mechanism primarily made of cast iron. The pump is mounted on an oak post, which is supported at the rear by an iron stay. It has a lead pipe leading to the well, equipped with a brass cock. This pump is included for its group value.
