Description

No. 2 Kedington End is a 17th-century house that was converted into two cottages in the 19th century and later combined back into a single dwelling. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a thatched roof. It is oriented approximately northwest to southeast, with a northeast aspect and an external chimney stack at the southeast end. There is a single-storey lean-to extension with a corrugated iron roof at the northwest end. The house has a single storey with attics, featuring a plain boarded door and four 20th-century casement windows, along with three additional windows in swept dormers. The gables are tarred, and the chimney stack is cement rendered. Inside, there are axial beams with exposed joists.
