Description

The cartlodge attached to the southwest angle of White Notley Hall dates back to the 16th century and has undergone later repairs. It features a timber frame with red brick nogging infill and has a half hipped roof covered with red plain tiles. The structure is two stories tall, with the ground floor consisting of a four-bay cartlodge that is open to the west, showcasing an exposed timbered ceiling. Access to the loft was not available at the time of the re-survey.
