Description
The Round House is an early to mid-19th century hexagonal lodge cottage. It is constructed of knapped flint with gault brick dressings, and has a thatched roof with a central rectangular gault brick stack. A single-storey link connects the lodge to a later two-storey block, which has a gabled peg tile roof and a rendered first floor above a flint pebble ground floor. The lodge windows are 20th-century casements, and the later extension has 20th-century small-pane casements.
