Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century house located on the north-west side of Church Green in Terling. It features a timber frame that is plastered and has a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The house has a two-span plan facing southeast, with one stack at the right end, one internal stack, and one external stack at the rear right. There is a single-storey extension beyond the main structure, which is roofed with red clay pantiles. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range of 20th-century casements. The entrance includes a half-glazed door with a moulded pediment. Rose Cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
