Description

Little Common Cottage is a 17th and 18th century cottage located on Long Lane in Rayne. It is timber-framed and has been plastered, with a thatched roof featuring two gabled dormers. A forward wing extends to the right, and a lean-to extension is attached to the left. The property has a red brick chimney stack and an external stack on the right. The front has a two-window range of 20th-century small-paned casement windows, and a vertically boarded 20th-century door. Some of the original timber frame is visible inside.
