Description
Gosfield Hall features a Ha-Ha wall located approximately 50 metres south of the south face of the hall, dating from the 18th to 19th century. The wall is constructed of gault brick, with about 3 to 4 feet of the wall visible. It has forward angled bays on both the right and left sides, along with a wide central semi-circular bay. Flanking the wall are large stag statues on either side, and there are four decorative stone urns, one positioned at each of the inner angles. The entire structure faces the Church and Church Road, where the outer Ha-Ha is situated.
