Description
Nos 63 to 73 on Bradford Street are a range of 18th-century timber-framed and plastered houses that have undergone various later alterations. The buildings are two storeys high with attics and have a total of nine windows across the range. Nos 63 and 65 each feature a two-window arrangement with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. No 63, which is now covered in pebbledash, includes a small 19th-century bay shop window. No 65 has a double-bay on the ground floor and a recessed doorway. Nos 67 and 69 have a four-window arrangement, with mullioned and transomed three-light casements with leaded lights on the first storey, and double-hung sashes with margin glazing bars on the ground floor. No 67 features a six-panel door with a wooden doorcase that has panelled reveals, fluted pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. Nos 71 and 73 are also pebble-dashed and have a two-window range with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars in flush cased frames. The paired central doorways have architraves and small hoods. The roofs are tiled. These listed buildings, along with Nos 57, 61, and 61A on the west side, form a group with Nos 24 to 56A on the east side.
