Description

Westbourne Cottage is a 17th and 18th century cottage located on The Green in White Notley. It is constructed with a timber frame and rough render, and has a red plain tiled gambrel roof. A red brick chimney stack is on the right-hand side of the exterior. The roof also features two catslide dormers. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and has two small casement windows with small panes of glass. A central recessed four-panel door provides access. Inside, the original timber frame remains, including chamfered bridging joists and ceiling beams.
