Description
No. 7 and Nos. 9-13 Chapel Hill comprise a late 15th or early 16th century timber-framed and plastered building with jettied cross wings and a central hall. An extension was added in the 17th century. The roofs are gabled and covered with red plain tiles. The windows are mostly vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars, although some are modern casements. The hall and cross wing roofs retain their original crown posts, with one displaying a moulded base and capital. A 17th century chimney stack features four diagonal shafts. A good original 'creased' oak door is present.
