Description

The wall of The White House is a Grade II listed structure located on the north side of Water Lane in Bures Hamlet. This wall runs from Station Hill, southwest of The White House, to the gateway in Station Hill, east of The White House. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring a simple soldier course and purpose-made red clay copings. The height of the wall varies, measuring approximately 2 metres at its tallest point and less than one metre at its lowest.
