Description
Blake House Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations and additions made in the 18th century and later. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a rough rendered exterior. The roof is hipped and covered with red plain tiles, and there are red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range consisting of three or four light diamond leaded casements, with bay windows on the ground floor. A central gabled timber porch, also with a red plain tiled roof, leads to a vertically boarded door, flanked by sidelights that match the other windows. The right rear wing is one storey with attics, featuring two gabled dormers and a three-window range of vertically sliding sashes with margins, along with central French doors.
