Description

Rectory Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge cottage located in Foxearth. It features a timber frame with plaster and red tiled roofs, consisting of two ranges and a crosswing on the left, creating an asymmetrical plan. The building is one storey with attics, and all ranges are jettied. The corner posts are heavily carved and braced, with an exposed patterned timber frame above the jetties. There is an ornate gabled porch on the right return, which includes bench seats, carved posts, and traceried panels. The entrance has a vertical boarded door. Additionally, there are three red brick chimney stacks, each with three attached diagonal shafts.
