Description

The Well House, located adjacent to the northeast of the Horse Gin at Gosfield Hall, is a 19th-century structure. It is built of red brick and features an octagonal shape with a red tiled roof that has red ridge tiles. The base of the well house has a diameter of 10 feet and stands 2 feet high, supporting the octagonal hipped roof above. The winding gear inside appears to be complete and is connected by a driving shaft to the Horse Gin nearby.
