Description
The Stable and Coach House, located 50 metres north of Belchamp Hall, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with blue headers, and the upper sections are finished with painted weatherboarding. The stable block features a gabled peg tile roof, topped with a central painted timber open arched cupola that has a pyramid roof. The south front includes a central semi-circular headed door with a fanlight, flanked by three circular windows on each side. The former coach house, connected by a single-storey block, is also made of red brick and has two large openings, topped with a gabled asbestos sheeting roof.
