Description

The wall located approximately 20 metres southeast of Clees Hall is a Grade II listed structure from the early 16th century. It is constructed of red brick with lime mortar, primarily featuring a header bond on the west side, along with some courses of stretcher bond. The wall measures about 5 metres in length, 2 metres in height, and 0.33 metre in thickness, being thicker at the base. It currently forms the western side of a 20th-century ancillary building and was originally part of or associated with the former Clees Hall, which is situated on a moated site.
