Description

Pilgrims is a house located in Bures Hamlet, dating from around 1600. It is timber framed and plastered, with exposed framing and a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building consists of three bays and a short chimney bay, featuring an axial chimney stack that creates a lobby entrance facing east. It has two storeys and a three-window range of 20th-century casements, along with a 20th-century door. There is a brick buttress at the left front corner. The property is incorrectly marked on the Ordnance Survey map as Meadowview Cottages.
