Description
This granary, located approximately 25 metres east-south-east of Clees Hall, dates from the mid-18th century. The north and south walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, while the east and west walls are timber framed and weatherboarded. The roof is made of handmade red clay tiles and features a gambrel design that is half-hipped at both ends. The structure has two storeys and includes an external ladder for access at the west end. Inside, there are hanging knees to the beams and a lodged side purlin roof with intermediate collars. The granary is situated on a moated site.
