Description

Berry House is an early to mid-19th century house located on the west side of High Street, Waterbeach. The building is constructed of gault brick with a slate roof and is arranged in an L-plan. It is two storeys high with a symmetrical facade and end stacks. A band runs along the cill height. The facade features three recessed first-floor windows with twelve panes each, and stone cills, alongside two matching ground-floor windows. The main entrance is defined by an architraved stone doorcase, which contains a rectangular fanlight and a four-panelled door. According to notes from the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (Cambs) published in 1955, it constitutes a building of group value.
