Description

Meadow Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It features a brick south wall, with a timber frame and a plastered, painted brick plinth. The roof is low pitched, hipped, and covered with slate, and has boarded eaves. The building is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan. The symmetrical facade consists of three sections or 'bays'. It has a reeded doorcase with reveals and a six-panelled door, which is topped by a rectangular fanlight. Flanking the door are three-light, flush framed hung sash windows. On the first floor, there are two similar windows and a central twelve-paned hung sash window. The farmhouse has end stacks and is included for its group value.
