Description

The Village Bakehouse, built around 1850, is a bakehouse constructed from gault brick and features a slate roof with parapet gables. It has a tall, slightly tapering ridge stack and a square plan with a wide entry facing southeast. The baking oven remains in place. This structure was built by the Lord of the Manor as a communal bakehouse.
