Description

Homedale is an early to mid-19th century house located on Cheyney Street. It is likely constructed from clay bat with a roughcast render finish, and has a slated hipped roof with two gault brick stacks. The front of the house features a plastered brick plinth and an asymmetrical facade of two storeys. The entrance has a four-panelled door topped with a rectangular fanlight, sheltered by a 20th-century gabled canopy. To either side of the door are flush-framed sixteen-paned hung sash windows on the ground floor. The first floor has three smaller, similarly styled windows. The building is listed for its group value.
