Description

No. 2 The Knapp is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with extensions added to the side and rear. It is constructed of clunch, rendered, and features a long straw thatched roof with a white brick ridge stack and an additional stack. At the rear, there is a lean-to addition. A room was added to the right side in the 1950s. The building has one storey and an attic, with two small dormers and three window openings, all fitted with 20th-century windows. Entry is through a porch on the front wall.
