Description
This building is a row of five cottages located at 32-38 Granhams Road, dating from around 1840. The cottages are timber framed and have a plaster-rendered exterior, with weatherboarded gable ends. They feature a flat roof with ridge stacks made of gault brick. The design consists of a single range plan with outshuts at the rear, and the cottages are two storeys high.
At the first floor, there are five horizontal sliding sash windows with small panes, which have their heads flush with the eaves. Most of these windows are original, with the exception of one that was replaced in the 20th century. There are four doorways, three of which have original boarding, while the fifth doorway has been sealed. Inside No. 38, the slender scantling of the framing is partly visible on the rear wall.
