Description

Town End Farmhouse is a late 16th-century farmhouse constructed with a timber frame and rough cast render. Part of the ground floor has been replaced with painted brick, and the foundations are made of painted and plastered brick. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with hipped slate. The building has two storeys and a three-unit plan, featuring a ridge stack located to the left of the center and a side stack on the south-west side. There are two modern casement windows on both the ground and first floors, and a panelled entrance door is positioned to the right. The main entrance of the farmhouse originally faced east.
