Description

A row of six cottages dating from the early 18th century, located on the High Street in Boxworth. The cottages are constructed of timber framing with plaster, 18th-century soft red brick, and painted and rendered brick. They are one storey high with attics, and feature tumbled parapet gables with end stacks. Each cottage has a boarded door and ten ground-floor windows with two lights, which are horizontal sliding sashes. There are also ten dormer windows, each with two lights and horizontal sliding sashes. Four ridge stacks are present. The brick gable on the south-west end displays a recessed round-headed blind arch with a brick key block.
