Description

The game larders, located to the rear of Croxton Park, date from the 18th century and have some alterations from the 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped long straw thatched roof, which extends as a covered way supported by wooden posts. The structure includes two wooden louvres, four doors, and one window that has gauze covering. Inside, there are two rooms: one is fitted with racks for hanging game, while the other contains marble slabs and wooden shelves, along with coved plastered ceilings that have louvred ventilation above.
