Description

The churchyard cross in Croxton Park is a Grade II listed structure that features medieval fragments that were rebuilt in the 18th century. It has a carved cross head depicting the Crucifixion, St Michael, a bishop, and St Anthony. The cross has a modern shaft and rests on a medieval octagonal base, which is set on a square plinth. The carved stones may have originated from the Edward Leeds collection and were noted by William Cole.
